Walt Cassel
Walt is a key player on the Dave McCarthy team, not just in the realm of real estate sales, but as the CFO of the network of complementary businesses started by Dave McCarthy. Walt graduated from Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and completed his postgraduate work at Villanova University. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His 27-year career in financial services as a public accountant began at Price Waterhouse Coopers, one of the “Big Four” public accounting firms. From there he moved to Acme Market’s financial operations where he ran their whole non-retail purchasing department. After Acme, Walt moved to NYC and began his career at Grey at Phase Five Communications, Inc. and for over eight years provided support to its President in the management of the business’ financial operations and profitability. He was soon promoted to SVP, Worldwide CFO, and his role expanded to include the financial operations and reporting for all Grey Healthcare Companies, a WPP Company, both domestic and internationally. In 2013 Walt was recruited by Chandler Chicco Agency/Inventiv Health (a Healthcare PR communications company) and in 2015 he left the Healthcare industry and moved to Rehoboth Beach full time to partner with Dave McCarthy in managing and expanding his business operations.
Walt’s approach to real estate is similar to Dave’s. He aims to guide his clients through the entire process, providing savvy advice backed up by his years of experience and expertise. Walt exercises a driving and dynamic approach towards his work, and he won’t stop until he has provided the best possible options for his clients.
